Marry a Foreign Man

June 22nd, 2008

There’s at one time a tide—marry a foreign man, exactly speaking, not even to marry him but just stay or go abroad with him without a certificate to ensure your good relationship. That fashion has gone in years. But now, it seems come back again.

We have ,oh I should say we had cause we just graduated from college several days ago, many foreign teachers in our school. Most of them has a chinese girl . Some even have babies.

In the other day, I saw a couple and their baby on a bus. The man is a Caucasian, teaching in our college. I don’t know his wife, she may be one teacher of our school. The man carried the little cute boy in his arms while the wife held a umbrella for the three. They were good at first. But after we getting on the bus, they began quarreling. The woman was a little excited, otherwise, the man behaved like a gentleman. Though they quarreled loudly, I could hardly understand a word. At that moment, I abhored my poor English listening ability badly. Yes I don’t deny the noise surrounded should impact my listening, but the main reason is still myself. I thought I maight need a man like that to practise my oral English. But you know, it was just a joke.

Another thing brought me back to this thought is recently I got to know an America online. He said he wants an Asian girl, he wants to bring her to America, and now he choose me. I know almost everything from net is unbelievable, at least not very sincere. Sometimes people’ll feel lone and doleful. They must find a way to give vent to their fastidium, I got it. But I’m a ordinary , vain, illusioned girl, I like his compliment. But that’s it. I don’t want to be so silly to believe he really will marry me or something . But, we can be friends I think.

Today sucks

June 22nd, 2008

When I was sitting in my office watching a movie, our general manager walked past the window and called me out to his office, told me a customer would come along tomorrow. He reminded, “You should be clear we’ve worked in this field for twenty-something years, instead we are a new company just set up not long ago. We’ve sold our equipment to ten-twenty countries, such as Egypt, Cote Divoire, Ethiopia, Syria etc.. You must remember. The customer will take a translator (his assistant) along with him. She’ll do the translation. Your job is listen and complement what she doesn’t translate. We’ll go to pick up them at their hotel 9:00 am tomorrow.”

I went back to my office. Excited. It’s the first foreigner comes along since I graduated ten days ago. Closed the film. Planed to look up some information on the net. Imagined what will be useful tomorrow. Countries! Right. The G.M. just mentioned several countries, a majority of which I didn’t know how to say it in English. Had to look them up and learn them by heart.

I went to work at 7:45 this morning. 15 minutes later we set out for the hotel. On our way there, the G.M. repeated, “ You’d better tell him you’ve graduated for 3-4 years if he asked. And you did foreign trade before. If you say you just left school, he’ll be suspicious about your ability. You know, you look very young.” “Ok, I will.” I murmured, touch on my cheek. Is it good or not to have a baby-face?

We met at 9:00 am in a good-decorated comfortable hotel. A tall good-looking White, with a common dressed black thin lady translator. She’s a good translator. I confess. Admiring. The man spoke quite fast and had a Italian accent. It’s hard to follow, but only for me. You should have seen the girl translating quite well. As if it’s easy as pie for her.

On the way back, the man once spoke to me, “ Can you speak English?” “What?” I blurted. What a silly question I made? The girl translated for me. “Er, yes.” Felt unconfident. What a joke for a translator needing another one translate for her. It’s unpardonable even though I’m not professional.

All along the way I kept silent, sat elegantly, smiled. The man glanced me off and on, but what he got was the same. Later, our G.M. asked the girl when she graduated. She answered in 2004 and asked what about me. “ I, in 2005.” I lied, as the G.M. asked me to. But will a 3-year graduate perform like that?

After getting back, they firstly took a look at our products. Then had a seat in the boardroom to discuss the details. I served them a cup of water each. It’s really embarrass to sit beside and keep silent and smile. I’m not Mona Lisa. So I decided to sneak into my office and I did. I past across the small room and worried about the following. Afterwards, our sales manager knocked on my door asked me to sit outside with them. Oh God! What should I do? Just went ahead. Soon, they finished the discussion. The customer said they were going to another factory. Our G.M. persisted to get his car to take them . I felt awful, couldn’t stand it any more . Again, I quited the job, sneaked into the office, shut all outside.

We often hear people say vase. It refers to a beautiful woman in a film who often appears on the scene but seldom speak. Now I know quite well what they suffer, though I may be no beauty. What’s more, there’s still a job I have to do—-apologize for my quit.

after busyness,miss father.

June 22nd, 2008

I am always in good mood these two days, but now I feel so sad while thinking of my father. All the things which happened are just like a dream. He is always a very traditional man,and I think he must opposite me to change our house. My ways of doing things are always different from my father’s.When I think of these,I feel very sad indeed,I always think about whether my father would be angry with me in buying house, also,I have used up his money. As soon as I think of these,I feel my heart aching and no way to control.

Dad,sorry, maybe I did one more thing you wouldn’t agree with me again. You are now in the heaven, can you hear me?Please forgive me.Dad,why couldn’t I happy from heart since you left me?I am always in a trouble at mood, and each corner of my heart is some sorrow. Two years passed, only those months when busy buying house, your shadow was farther from me,however, after busyness, you are always kept in my mind anytime.

Before, when I thought of the money from you was kept somewhere in my house,I wouldn’t feel well. Now,it disappeared and blended into my new house, and now,I still feel very well, either, just because I love you so much,I should try changing my all these opinions, they are so harm to my body and mind.

I would learn to be happy again and forget all the sadness.

Defeating Doc Ock
Save all of the people on the train and complete the other levels until you get to the level where he recreates his machine. To complete this level you must destroy all of the power generators. To do this, follow the cord that is streaked with orange (or yellow) and black. You will then get to the generators. Just kick them to destroy them. His shield will then go away and you must take out all of his legs; however, be careful. Then to defeat him, keep punching and kicking away.

Defeating Mysterio
You first need to know which hologram is him. To do that, you look at the faces behind all of the holograms. The one that is smiling will have the real Mysterio directly in front of it. Do not touch him while the three fireballs are orbiting his head. When he tries to shoot you and no longer has them orbiting his head, go in and hit him. When the fireballs return, back off. Keep repeating this. Note: Do not forget about the other holograms; they are just as powerful.

Defeating Rhino
To defeat Rhino, all you have to do is jump. While you are in the air, press L. Then, wait for him to run into the wall and get some combos on him. When he runs into the next room, do the same. Run around the poles when he gets the big pipe.

Defeating Shocker
To defeat Shocker, you must let Rhino knock down the platform he is standing on (see the “Defeating Rhino” hint). Then, lock in on him with the Spidey target and either blind him or hold L and press Triangle. Keep doing that and try not to die.

Defeating Vulture
Stay in the construction area on top of the building. Remain in between the two buildings that Vulture cannot get to you. After awhile, his health will get down to green. He will land, and this is when you can attack him. Do it quickly; you only get five to ten seconds to punch him.

Star Wars Battlefront week: Nick’s impressions

    June 22nd, 2008

All this week, the writers of PSP Fanboy will share their impressions of Star     Wars Battlefront: Renegade Squadron. Make sure you come back every     day, as we’ll be giving away five limited edition Darth Vader PSP-2000     systems.

I’ll be quite frank: this is the first time I’ve played a Star Wars game on my     own time since Shadows of the Empire on the Nintendo 64. It was bitchin’,     sure, but I only played stuff like Knights of the Old Republic on a friend’s     system. Before Shadows, I think the only other Star Wars game I had was     on the NES — it was hard. Very hard. So, unlike Andrew and Colin, I have     no prior experience with the Battlefront franchise, so its move on psp is     less of a surprise to me, more of … an initiation into something fantastic.

I don’t know why Andrew and Colin are so dismissive of the controls —     maybe they’re used to something completely different, but as a Battlefront     virgin, I found my cherry popping experience delightfully intuitive. [Wow,     strong imagery there! - Ed.] The basics are this: you don’t move your     cursor around — you press and hold the R trigger to lock onto nearby     enemies. The longer you lock, the stronger your shot. When you’re     locked, instead of running, you strafe. I think you can cycle through     enemies with the D-pad during a lock-on, but I’d just tap the R trigger and     move onto the next closest target. Actually, you know what, the controls     are exactly like Mega Man Legends. Maybe that’s why I love them.

I wasn’t fond of the vehicles. No real reason, but the larger ones got stuck     a lot and controlling your aim was more cumbersome than rewarding.     Leave the vehicles for your AI peons to handle as you wreck an enemy     stronghold all by your lonesome. This is especially true in the Galaxy     Conquest mode, which I’ll be chatting about for the remainder of this     impression.

Sony launches movies on a stick for PSP

    June 22nd, 2008

Sony launches movies on a stick for PSP
Sony is introducing two Memory Stick entertainment packs for the     PlayStation  Portable(PSP) system later this month.

The new capacity Entertainment Packs will feature a 2GB or 4GB Memory     Stick Pro Duo, and will come with a launcher DVD loaded with four movies     from Sony Pictures.
With the launcher DVD loaded into a PC, one of the four movies can be     transferred from the DVD to the Memory Stick using an unlock code. This     allows the movie to be viewed on the PSP.

Each movie is optimised for playback on the Sony PlayStation 3 console at     720 x 480 resolution as well as for the PSP. Titles available include Click,     Ghost Rider, RV and Stomp the Yard.

The 2GB and 4GB Memory Stick Entertainment Packs will be available for     about $55 and $90 respectively.

Sony has also announced 2GB and 4GB Memory Stick Micro media cards     for use with Sony Ericsson mobile phones, Cyber-shot digital cameras and     Handycam camcorders that have a Memory Stick PRO Duo slot.

The 2GB Memory Stick Micro media card is available now for about $55.     The 4GB card will be available in November for around $90.

    PSP RemoteJoy4iRS - LMAO

    June 22nd, 2008

    PSP RemoteJoy4iRS - LMAO
PSP2K was born with the ability to output video which I desire for. So recently I am keeping considering changing my fat P to this new thin thin pet., and I almost list it on taobao for sale. But things changed yesterday since hving found my fat P can do exactly what his successor does.

Last night, I hv read a thread titled Play Your PSP Game via PC Screen by RemoteJoy4iRS. I was so excited when looking at these words. That’s exactly what I’m looking for. It means my fat P can also make a video output to Pc or TV screen like PSP2K. It’s really amazing and I was so excited for that. With no hesitation, I started to configure my fat P settings for RemoteJoy step by step as the instruction told. Things seem to be more positive than what I  expected. It worked at the very first try. And for the first time, I see my psp games images from my PC screen, and then TV.  Thank you Ahman!!!

Everything goes well but for keyboard mapping! Yes, the original bindle keyboard setting is truly awful. It doesn’t use the universal setting for keyboard mapping like WASD etc. Instead of that, it put “z” as down and “d” as right. That makes me right down there!!! And that is why I hv to criticize Ahman the author here. He’s  kinda …ehm… a little selfish. Cuz I don’t think it is a technical reason for him since the previous versions can always work well for custom usage.

Writing down here, I hv wasted 3 hrs to find a way out for my own keyboard mapping. The only answer I hv got from Un-official IRShell Forum is that you can recompile USBhostFS.exe with your own keyboard mapping if you find the current mapping “dumb”. mapping is by AhMan and for HIS keyboard/laptop!

For God’s sake, stop this, cuz I really LMAO when trying press “z” for down!

PS: snapshots for video output effects

    PSP getting Skype this month

    January 26th, 2008

Anyone owning a PSP Phat had best look away, as Sony has today announced that Skype will be made available on the handheld device, but only for the Slim & Lite model.

    PSP getting Skype this month

For those not up to date, Skype allows telephone calls to be made over the internet, meaning a great reduction in the cost for consumers. Skype to Skype calls are also completely free, which is a very nice touch. By bringing it to the PSP, it means the following services will be made available for handheld users:

Free voice calls between Skype users
Skype contact list management (view existing contacts, add new ones)
Skype presence (see which friends are online and available to talk)
SkypeOut calls to make calls to landlines and mobile phones anywhere in the world (requires the purchase of Skype credit)
Optional SkypeIn™ number that lets users receive calls on Skype from landlines and mobiles anywhere in the world (requires the purchase of Skype credit)
View and modify Skype settings and account details (including username creation, SkypeOut settings, voicemail settings and call forwarding)

An update is required to get the features working; that will be hitting late January according to the press release. Once updated, a nice new logo for Skype will appear in the Network category under the Home menu. It will be possible to create an account via the PSP, should you not have embraced the future just yet. Those that have will find it super-simple to sign in via said icon.

Anyone hoping to make use of this will need a Memory Card Duo, an internet connection (duh) and a Skype-compatible input device; basically a microphone so you can talk.

Who’s particularly excited about this new feature that holds so much potential? It certainly makes the PSP even more attractive to media-orientated consumers. Share your thoughts on this move below.

Hmm, i own a phat PSP and thought about a Skype-port months ago, so this is not a new idea to me and i also won’t be able to usw it… why don’t they just release Skype on an UMD (they can’t release it in a firmware on Phat, because it has less flash memory) for 20-30€/$? Even better would be a Skype for the Nintendo DS, it has an integrated microphone AND Nintendo has made contracts with some providers of WLAN hotspots, for example t-mobile in Germany, free WLAN in many central locations, for example Hamburg central station.
